Moviate has enjoyed tremendous community support from various venues who help with discounted rental rates or donation of spaces to hold film screenings and live music events. Our monthly screenings take place on the 4th sunday of each month at the Midtown Cinema. We also currently book events at Civic Club of Harrisburg, Little Amps Coffee Roasters, and Der Maennerchor, all wonderful venues for film and music events. In the past we've had great events at the Whitaker Center, Open Stage of Harrisburg, Jump Street, the Midtown Scholar Bookstore, The Millworks, The Broad Street Market, Second City Church, Salem UCC, STUDIO A gallery, the Susquehanna Art Museum, and other great venues. Thanks to all the venues from the past, and to the current venues who continue to help bring independent music and cinema to the Harrisburg area!

We have been showing films at the Midtown Cinema since they opened their doors over 10 years ago. They have been a huge support.

A beautiful building along the Susquehanna River, featuring a large presentation hall. The Civic Club of Harrisburg is used to promote and engage in civic and social activities that preserve the heritage of the organization and it's building and encourage the cultural and historic interest in the community. We are happy to utilize this great facility for our daytime screenings during our annual Film Festival each May.
