Moviate - Film Camp

Moviate hosts MOVIATE FILM CAMP. Ten "at-risk" students from Harrisburg experienced filmmaking with a five-day film workshop held by Moviate on March 23rd, 24th, April 6th, 7th, and 13th, 2002. Here is a photo record of the experience.

	The camp was implemented by Caleb Smith (left, with Robert), founder of Moviate and a professional videographer, and Christina Steinbacher (MSE, Fulbright Scholar) an elementary school teacher specializing in working with disadvantaged youth. Caleb previously directed two summer filmmaking camps at the Susquehanna Art Museum. Christina has taught in the Cornwall-Lebanon school system for 6 years and has a Masters Degree in Science Education.
